How to Use Your Energy Cleanse & Renewal Ritual Set

  1. Set Your Intention
    Before you start, consider what you want to clear from your energy field, such as stress, heavy emotions, old thoughts, or anything that no longer feels right. Hold the Clear Quartz Dragon Egg and say an intention such as: “I release what no longer serves me and welcome in light, clarity, and renewal.”
  2. Prepare Your Space
    Light the Palo Santo Stick and let the smoke rise. Walk slowly around your space, imagining any heavy or stuck energy fading away as you go.
  3. Arrange Your Crystals
    Put the Apophyllite Cluster and Amethyst Druze in the centre of your altar or space to set a calm mood. Arrange the Satin Spar Selenite, Clear Quartz, and Manifestation Quartz around them to help boost your intentions.
  4. Activate with Sound
    Gently play the Small Sound Bowl by striking or circling its rim with the beater. Let the sound move through your space and over your crystals.

Cleansing Your Crystals

 

Crystals work best when they are cleared and cleansed. Here are some easy ways to cleanse them:
  • Place your crystals in the sun for a few hours. Some crystals may fade if left in the sun too long.
  • Hold your crystals in the smoke of a burning cleansing stick until they are covered.
  • Put your crystals on a selenite plate overnight.
  • Bury your crystals in the garden for 24 hours. Remember where you put them.
  • Rinse your crystal under running water and ask for negativity to be washed away. Some crystals dissolve, so check first.

Smoke cleansing is closely tied to the spiritual practice of smudging by Native American / Indigenous Nations. White sage, palo santo, sweetgrass, and many other plants used for burning are considered sacred medicine by these Nations. To avoid cultural appropriation and exploitation, it is essential to understand the cultural history of these items. It is also crucial to know the history of suppression forced upon these populations. They were forbidden to practice their culture, language, and traditions, including smudging, until 1978, when the American Indian Religious Freedom Act was passed. Even after this Act, Native American / Indigenous Nations have faced and still face ongoing persecution for various reasons. When purchasing sage and other plants used for burning, ensure they are ethically sourced. Avoid over-harvesting these sacred medicines. Whenever possible, support Native American and Indigenous Peoples and Their Nations.
